This Naturopathic loose-leaf blend is a warming, grounding, strengthening and nourishing tea. It is designed to restore nutritional deficiencies postpartum while also uplifting and soothing mood. The herbs contain natural forms of essential vitamins and minerals. The raspberry leaf and nettle will support uterine and pelvic floor muscle recovery post birth. This is a postpartum tea tonic to uplift and strengthen your temple.
Stinging nettle leaf, rooibos, raspberry leaf, ginger, orange peel
Add 1 heaped teaspoon per cup of boiling water. Infuse for 10 – 15 minutes
Not to be used while pregnant. Raspberry leaf is best avoided in the first trimester of pregnancy. The herbs used in this tea are considered safe during breastfeeding and have been used for centuries for women after child birth. Some herbs may lower blood sugar and should not be taken with diabetes medication. Like any food, we all have different intolerances or reactions to foods and herbs. Some herbs in the blend do affect digestion and while normally supportive this is not the case for every individual. If at any time you notice diarrhoea, gas or stomach ache in you or Bub stop drinking the tea.
