A Naturopathic loose-leaf tea designed for breastfeeding mums to help support milk supply, lactation, colic and digestion. Breastfeeding encourages the postpartum rebalancing of hormones and a special bond between mum and bub. Milk flow can vary dramatically for a multitude of different reasons and it is common for mum’s to experience issues with breastfeeding. This tea is designed to gently support milk supply using Galactagogues herbs that may help to increase breastmilk supply.
Moringa leaf, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, cinnamon, aniseed, caraway, goats rue and apple pieces
Add 1 heaped teaspoon per cup of boiling water. Infuse for 10 – 15 minute. Drink 1 cup per day for mild effect, p to 3 times per day for full effect. Once an adequate supply is reached, most women can discontinue the tea and maintain the milk supply with adequate breast stimulation.
Not to be used while pregnant. The herbs used in this tea are considered safe during breastfeeding and have been used for centuries for women after child birth. Fenugreek may affect the smell of urine and be similar to maple syrup. Some herbs may lower blood sugar and should not be taken with diabetes medication. Like any food, we all have different intolerances or reactions to foods and herbs. Some herbs in the blend do affect digestion and while normally supportive this is not the case for every individual. If at any time you notice diarrhoea, gas or stomach ache in you or Bub stop drinking the tea to see if its connected. Not suitable for children, pregnant or nursing women. Not FDA or TGA tested.
